Back in 2009 I drew my gun to get away from a Muslim guy outside my office building. I used the term “proto-terrorist” to describe him because after this brush with what seemed to me to be pure evil, even though it did not exactly rise to the level of a terrorist act, I definitely had the sense it could develop into something much more sinister, either with this individual or someone similar.
I didn’t realize he was a Muslim until I read the guard report later, googled his name and found his blog which advertised his availability as a tutor for the Arab language. The pictures and rants on his blog corroborated the guard’s report which indicated some political frustrations he was having, leading him to throw furniture and people around. I didn’t know any of that when I encountered him. Since this happened, I’ve used the following recording of my 911 call to instruct on several issues in my free concealed carry class (beginning with a class I taught the very next day after this incident).
Fast forward to today and we have fairly frequent beheadings and “lone wolf” terrorist attacks.
The only way to defend against terrorists of any sort is with a people trained to bearing arms.
Please consider attending the free concealed carry training I offer at http://guntrust.org
Have a Safe and Happy Halloween!
BTW, if you are out there trick or treating tonight please remember that Section 25300(a) [formerly 12040(a)] of the California Penal Code prohibits carrying a concealed firearm while wearing a mask.
