Nice when this happens, and at least one study shows victims disarm attackers more than the other way around, but it’s a lot better to have a gun on you, isn’t it?
Police said a 39-year-old man and his girlfriend were sitting at their 1400 E. Morris home when someone knocked on the front door just before 11 p.m. Monday. A 30-year-old man with a gun then forced his way into the home.The homeowner managed to wrestle with the suspect, take the gun and shoot the suspect. A second individual who showed up with the suspect ran away and has not been found.
