BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern High School District Board of Trustees has voted in favor of allowing employees to bring guns onto campuses.
The five-man board approved an amendment to the KHSD gun policy that allows staff members who hold a concealed-carry weapons permit to bring guns to school with the superintendent’s written permission.
