David R. Duringer, JD, LL.M, is the shareholding attorney (CA Bar #143911). Also admitted in WA (#26872) though WA does not regulate law corporations.
Does the law corporation insulate the attorney from liability?
If you drop a .45 on your foot during a dry practice session and break your toe, maybe.
But an attorney is personally liable for any professional malpractice, and the law corporation does not change that.
We carry attorney professional liability insurance to protect ourselves and our clients.
How much does it cost to start the planning process?
