In the case of MASTERPIECE CAKESHOP, LTD., ET AL. v.COLORADO CIVIL RIGHTS COMMISSION ET AL., No. 16-111, SCOTUS has upheld the free exercise clause of the First Amendment, ruling in favor of the Colorado baker who refused to bake a wedding cake for a same sex couple.
Haven’t read the opion yet, but apparently this is a good move toward protection of marriage.
