If this latest Democrat acid trip (AB 1663, here) [UPDATE: also see AB 1664, here; and SB 880, here] actually passes, a gun trust might help you keep these firearms in the state longer, and would provide a framework to keep them training your family even after they are eventually removed from California:
Those with a bullet button would have until 2018 to register their gun and those found after that date with such a device installed on an unregistered rifle would be liable to a felony charge and up to a year in prison.
