King, 25, was able to pull up a live surveillance video feed on her phone and spotted a man in her bedroom with socks on his hands rifling through her belongings.King called 911 and her father, 54-year-old Jerry King. He lives about one block away and went to investigate.When he arrived at his daughter’s home moments later, he saw 23-year-old Michael Stewart leaving the house, police said. King told investigators Stewart had something in his hand that “put him in fear,” according to a news release. He fired one shot, hitting Stewart in the upper torso.
