Authorities in Tennessee say an officer fatally shot a woman who attacked with a medieval-style ax.Laronda Sweatt, 40, of Gallatin, Tennessee, became combative when Sumner County sheriff’s deputy Gary Pickard accompanied housing authorities to serve an eviction notice on her Wednesday.
I think the officer here deserves credit for waiting until the last possible moment to shoot, possibly even waiting a bit too long given the bystanders almost in the line of fire.
