Firearms and Fashion Show Coordinator Marylin Smolinski says, “The Firearms and Fashion Show is a truly unique event. We use a mix of runway models and firearms professionals on the runway. It’s really interesting to watch them bond backstage; the firearms professionals teach the models how to draw from their holsters and the models in turn teach how to walk the runway. Many of the models have become proficient shooters after participating in our show and have developed a love for the sport.” Interestingly, the growing interest in CCW seems to have inspired non-firearms-industry participation in this event. Continues Smolinski, “In addition to concealed carry, another quickly growing market is tailored clothes for men. I’m therefore excited to announce that Men’s Wearhouse is collaborating with the Firearms and Fashion Show to showcase their latest fashions to be worn with concealment options from our other sponsors.”
