To really have teeth this Tennessee bill should require provision of lockers at banner’s expense — otherwise, frustrated packers will go without and get attacked outside the zone. Also, there should be liability for promoting the risky practice of loading and unloading in one’s car just outside the gun-free zone, whether or not lockers are provided.
Those with valid gun permit could sue property owner over injury or death if incident occurred in a gun-free zone.
