A jewelry store at the Shops at Mission Viejo was hit this afternoon by a gang of four robbers:
Deputies were called to the mall at 12:54 p.m., Braun said. Initial reports of shots fired turned out to be untrue, she said. The four robbers were armed, but investigators suspect witnesses heard glass shattering, not guns firing, Braun said.
No shots were fired here (always a good thing, especially in a mall filled with people). I certainly would not want to face four bad guys with California’s magazine capacity limits:
