Defensive gun use at retail stores is very common. What makes this instance different is that the employer allowed the weapon and praised the use of it (unlike the shameful pizza companies that knowingly send defenseless young drivers to their deaths), plus of course the fact it took place in Chicago which is new to carry:
Neil Tadros, district manager for T-Mobile, said the employee’s actions were taken to protect himself and others. “Thank God for concealed carry,” he said.
