Okay, so it wasn’t exactly a “Defensive Gun Use” — but the combat mindset was all there.
After the woman, who lives at Coronado Apartments, had parked her car and gotten out of the vehicle, Meehan is suspected of slashing her with a knife, according to Manzella.The woman fought back, gained control of the weapon and stabbed Meehan multiple times, she added.The altercation was witnessed by several residents of the apartment complex, who notified police, Manzella said. The woman, who sustained several non-life-threatening stab wounds, and Meehan were initially treated at the scene by paramedics and then rushed by ambulance to separate hospitals. The woman has been released from the hospital.
